The paper strips wigged my 'photo-stitch' a bit, and i couldn't get a very good scan on this one...this will have to do. - day 4, why did it seem so hard today?

Day1 of {21}

just starting a {21} challenge today. i'm doing this one on my own schedule, but you can find more info about it on Rhonna's blog.
anyway, school started, 1/2 day pre-K, so i'm taking my 'me' time and doing something with it. I'll try to be good about posting progress and pages, since i'll be trying to do an art journal for this.

not the best scans...but i liked the layouts well enough, i thought i'd share.

My favorite find...

while in houston i was in a Barnes & Noble and they have this neat little area where they sell "office-y" supplies and such...not in all stores, i guess, because i've not seen any of this stuff where i live.
anyway...this is the cover of the cool little book i bought to do my 'me' book with.

i really like the design. i saw it, snapped it up and didn't really care what it cost (although it wasn't expensive) i was going to have it.
love the black and white.
love the paisley-looking flowers.
love the rows of circles as accents along the leaves.
love the whole bit.
